Make time for fun and relaxation
We live in a world where people are burning the candle at both ends.  More people are stressed out today than ever before. That’s why finding ways to relax and have fun are so important.  Making time for fun and enjoyment will better equip you to handle stress.

Schedule relaxation time into your daily planner. Whether it’s ½ hour for lunch or ten minutes to enjoy a cup of tea or a short walk this is your time to take a break from all your responsibilities and de-stress.

Human contact is also very important, especially with those who bring joy to your life and encourage positive living. A strong support system of friends and family will buffer you from the negative effects of stress. So make time to connect with loved ones on a regular basis.

Here are some simple things you can do to relax and recharge:
•    Go for a walk.
•    Spend time in nature.
•    Call a good friend.
•    Sweat out tension with a good workout.
•    Write in your journal.
•    Take a long bath.
•    Light scented candles
•    Savor a warm cup of coffee or tea
•    Play with a baby or children
•    Play with a pet.
•    Work in your garden.
•    Get a massage.
•    Curl up with a good book.
•    Listen to music.
•    Watch a comedy
•    Try yoga and meditation

Don’t lose yourself in the endless list of things to do everyday that you forget to take care of your self. Make time everyday to de-stress and rejuvenate yourself mind body and soul. That’s the only way you’ll be able to enjoy life and give it your very best.
